# Merge Candidate

Collapse a secondary candidate into a primary candidate, absorbing the secondary candidate's applications and history into the primary candidate's record.

**Note**: The secondary candidate's record is permanently deleted once the merge completes.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| Candidate ID | The ID of the primary candidate that the secondary candidate is merged into. Can be obtained using the `List Candidates` action. |
| Secondary Candidate ID | The ID of the secondary candidate to merge into the primary candidate. This candidate's record is deleted once the merge completes. Can be obtained using the `List Candidates` action. |
