# Restart Device

Remotely restart a device.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| Device ID | The device's ID. |
| Notify User | If checked, notifies the user to restart the device at their convenience. |
| Rebuild Kernel Cache | If checked, the system rebuilds the kernel cache during a device restart. For more information, visit [Iru Endpoint Management documentation](https://api-docs.iru.com/#38c26673-97d2-42d5-bd74-7a2b7843bb94). |
