# Update Alert Status

Update the status of a specified alert by opening it, closing it, or requesting or canceling its takedown.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Description |

| Action | Select the action to perform on the alert. |
| Alert ID | The ID of the alert. You can get alert IDs using the `List Alerts` action. |
