Test Connection

Run and validate the test connection using the provided parameters.

Note: If no Connection ID was provided the connection will be tested without being created.

Basic Parameters

Parameter	Description
Connection Attributes	The JSON object of the connection’s attributes to test the connection with. For example: { “attribute1” : { “value” : ”******” } } Notes: * Use the List Connections action to obtain the attributes. Secret values can be passed as masked values, and Blink replaces them with the actual secrets when needed. * When testing a new connection, all parameters must be provided.
Connection ID	The already created connection to test. Note: Required when testing an already existing connection.
Connection Type ID	The type of the connection to test.
Runner Group	The runner group to use for the test. Note: If empty, runs on the workflow runner by default.
Workspace ID	The workspace in which the connection will be tested.

Advanced Parameters

Parameter	Description
Additional Parameters	A JSON object for additional body parameters. Values specified in this parameter will override equivalent parameters. For example: { “first_key”: 12345, “second_key”: “some_value” } The object must follow the vendor’s structure as defined in the API documentation.
