Pylon

Pylon provides a unified B2B support platform that centralizes customer conversations across Slack, Teams, email, and chat. It helps teams automate support workflows, manage customer intelligence, and streamline service delivery at scale.

Creating a Pylon connection

Using API Token

To create the connection you need:

• An API Token

Obtaining the credentials

Note: To create the API token, you must have an Admin role.

1. In your dashboard, navigate to Settings.

   

2. In the Settings menu, go to Integrations & dev → API tokens.

   

3. In the upper-right corner, click Create.

   

4. In the role dropdown, select the appropriate role for the token.

   

5. Copy your token and store it securely.

   

Creating your connection

1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the Connections page > Add connection. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
2. Select the Pylon icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.
3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
4. Select API Token as the method to create the connection.
5. Fill in the parameters:
   • The API Token
6. (Optional) Click Test Connection to test it.
7. Click Create connection. The new connection appears on the Connections page.
