Create Webhook

Register an outbound webhook in Halo ITSM that calls a URL, such as a Blink Custom Webhook trigger, when a matching event occurs.

Basic Parameters

Parameter	Description
Active	Select to enable the webhook immediately.
Name	The name of the webhook.
Payload URL	The URL Halo calls when the webhook fires, for example a Blink Custom Webhook trigger’s URL.

Advanced Parameters

Parameter	Description
Authentication Type	The authentication Halo uses when calling the payload URL, as an integer code.
Basic Password	The password to send, when authentication_type is set to basic authentication.
Basic Username	The username to send, when authentication_type is set to basic authentication.
Content Type	The Content-Type header Halo sends with the webhook request.
Events	The events that trigger this webhook, as a JSON array of Halo notification profile objects.
Method	The HTTP method Halo uses to call the payload URL, as an integer code.
Payload Type	The shape of the payload Halo sends, as an integer code.
Type	The webhook type, as an integer code.
